Review on Dunham Men's Slip-On Loafers Captain Boat Shoes in Brown by Todd Taniguchi

Fits perfectly; Amazing quality and comfort

What a great, quality and comfortable shoe. Can't say I've been able to say that in the last ten years or so - most shoes seem to be designed to last about three months before falling apart. I have huge feet and - I'm sure everyone is reading this for exactly that reason - it's difficult to find stylish, comfortable shoes for everyday wear. If you're having a big, filling meal, look no further. Not only did these shoes fit me perfectly from the start, they fit almost 100% perfectly with minimal wear (just under a week with minimal wear) and looked great when loaded. The soles are thick enough to provide a good grip, but not so thick and clumsy that they look like clumsy orthopedic clown shoes. These shoes look great with trousers and are suitable for both dressy and casual occasions. I'm taking a spare set for fear they will stop making them. PROS: • Great for wide feet (4E) • Quality construction • Comfortable for all day/walking • Doesn't look like a boot on the foot (oversized round toe shoes often look weird) CONS: • Stiff heel during first few week (I taped my heels under my toes to minimize calluses; heel seems to crack within 4 days) • Rounded toes (I prefer square toes for style, but it still looks good)

Pros
  • 100% leather
Cons
  • Challenging
