    Excellent support: my rating

    I need a pair of comfortable shoes to work with black or gray shorts. I'm a tall man and needed more support than normal running shoes.

    Pros
    • I wear orthopedic insoles so that the heel is too low and rubs, it would be ideal if the shoes were about 1 cm higher.
    Cons
    • Shoes have poor grip on slippery surfaces.

    Strong smell suits me

    This shoe was recommended to me by my orthopedist. It feels good and fits well. However, it gives off a strong smell. It's bad enough that I won't be wearing them as they invade the area around the shoe. I aired them out for a few days (outdoors during the day) but the smell is still there. I wonder how long it will take to get fit or I'll have to return them.

    Casual shoes in my review.

    Completely satisfied. Comfortable. Beautiful view. Can be worn with pants or shorts. With or without socks. There is nothing not to love. A boat would be nice too.

    Laces cannot be replaced.

    Consistent with other comments, the laces on the heel are sewn into the shoe and cannot be replaced. It's a shame because otherwise it's a good shoe. My laces broke 13 months after purchase, which is 1 month after the warranty expired. . . .

    my husband loves her

    I gave it to my husband for his birthday. This is his fourth pair of Dunhams and he loves them. He has high arches and says they are so comfortable. He didn't know he could get different colors and loves blue.

    • I would recommend this to anyone who wears Y shoes. I usually take the New Balance 14 4E and they fit just as well if not better.

    Great shoe, fits me

    This is the second pair I've bought for my husband. His first pair wore out after 8 years in the tropics. Great fit, hard to find narrow width. very nice shoes. An excellent choice.

    Wear shoes all the time - they are comfortable and fit correctly - the lacing is fast and correct.

    I had the first ones I've bought in many years. They are easy and quick to put on and take off. Take them off when I enter the house. They are suitable for both evening shoes and casual wear. And they come in narrow sizes - many shoes don't fit a foot as narrow as mine.

    Tie shoes...!! in my opinion

    They fit well for wide feet. The skin is a bit strange. Something like suede, something like leather trim. NOTE. In the pictures it looks like a jumpsuit but is actually a tie.

They look good, fit well, they are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever had, they seem to be made out of very good material which should last quite a while if other reviews are to be believed.     What a great, quality and comfortable shoe. Can't say I've been able to say that in the last ten years or so - most shoes seem to be designed to last about three months before falling apart. I have huge feet and - I'm sure everyone is reading this for exactly that reason - it's difficult to find stylish, comfortable shoes for everyday wear.     These Dunham Captain pumps are $120 and I paid less than $40 here at Revain. So that's good. The shoes are actually very good quality with excellent functionality. Fits as expected and wears like a comfortable tennis shoe. The outsole is made of non-slip rubber and has a great grip.     Comfortable shoes but with serious problems

    I've had this shoe before and liked the comfort and fit, but this model has some serious problems. First, the shoe has a serious design flaw. The laces are sewn on and not interchangeable! The laces wrap completely around the heel like real moccasins, but are sewn to the heel. If your shoelaces wear out like mine, the shoes are useless. When this first happened, New Balance kindly replaced the shoes. The second time the shoes were quite worn out so I just bought a new pair. That's when I…

    I cannot replace the laces as they are sewn into the shoes. Ridiculous

    They sewed the damn laces to the back of the shoe. Now in order to switch to the type of laces I prefer, I have to cut the original laces to fit the ones I like. I'll wait a bit before doing this, but it's not off to a good start. What's worse, they didn't even do the laces before sewing the laces to the back of the boot, so the laces on a foot are a whopping 6 inches longer on one side. I can do without comfortable shoes, but it annoys me a lot that when changing laces I can no longer use them
