Ease of Use - Seasonal Decoration
This is one of those things to think about. They work great and won't damage the roof unless you're barbaric and yanking on the clapboards or metal roof panel. I could actually grab one end of the Christmas lights and we wouldn't be gently pulling on the lights and pushing them out of the roofline so I didn't have to get the ladder out when lowering them. Bad idea as now the light is not working properly and it took me several hours to find and fix the damaged part of the cable.
