The medium size proved to be best and this is what is pictured. actually runs about the same. There is room at the waist and hips - with plenty of room in the large as you would expect. It falls just below the knee ( mine is 5'3") and there's a nice bit of flowy fabric so it's perfectly comfortable to wear seated without worrying about the skirt riding up too high! I like that the look is more "authentic" than a lot of flapper costumes. It's very comfortable, can't wait to wear it for Halloween!
