Some other docks require a driver for use with a MacBook. I connected this and it worked. Excellent range of functions. Keep in mind that you can't run two monitors from one dock on a Mac (that's a Mac limitation, not the dock). However, if you have two or more USB-C ports, you can power one monitor plus your MacBook's Ethernet, power, audio in/out, and USB ports from the dock, and then power the other monitor to the second USB -Connect connector. -C (make sure you have a USB-C to Displayport or HDMI connector designed to work with a MacBook - not all will work).
