I thought I could fit 2 cards side-by-side in each of the compartments, but they are sewn on each side so Each center slot only fits 1 card, total 8 card slots, 4 on each side of the wallet. Center zip pocket. Full size slot at the top of both sides, so you can put money in either side. I also have these common shopping cards, insurance cards, other credit cards, just in the space on either side of the change compartment. But all that is usually in the middle makes it a little difficult to zip up. I could just take less stuff or change with me. The phone pocket on the outside is filled with a piece of foam that seems to stretch it a bit. So the cell phone pocket is big enough for my S7 edge with case. Since I usually carry my phone in my pocket anyway, and with lipstick and pen in my purse it was too hard to zip up, I put them in my phone pocket. Maybe I try to stuff too much in my wallet, but I try to use it as my only bag. I like to carry a shoulder bag when I have my hands free and don't have to worry about the handbag falling off my shoulder. I leave it open and take money or cards to pay. Oh, the strap wasn't long enough for me, even fully extended, so I snapped the strap around my wrist on one side and then attached the end of the shoulder strap to it to adjust it to the perfect length!
