We had to drill more holes in this case. There are only holes on both sides and holes in the top so not ideal for placing a sling of wood that needs moisture but adequate ventilation unless more air holes are made. It's a solid, durable case, that's all. Be careful when putting the cap back on as the magnet makes a sudden "click" that causes my line to bounce and almost fall off. The slingshot also managed to escape from the top of the fence. I've looked up and down the case to figure out how it got out as the air holes are too small for a child to fit through. On closer inspection, there is a straight hole between the top wall and where the lid slides for the spider to slip through. This is a 1/2 inch sling for reference. When placing tree slings, just be careful.
