Review on Accusharp 029C Knife Sharpener Black by Melissa Parker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Doesn't work miracles, but it works. Highly recommended. It took a lot of thinking.

Very well built and thought out • Diamond shank has a short groove for sharpening points such as fishing hooks and sewing needles Smooth surfaces • Finger grooves are textured for better grip • Bottom has rubber inserts for increased stability in use des V. Below I compare it to Smith's Pocket Pal. Sharpener.• It's larger, so takes up more space and weight, but it's also easier to hold and use.• Includes a double-ended flat diamond sharpener.• Additional productivity features (rubber inserts and textured finger grooves). Thoughts: I liked it immediately. I don't mind that it's larger than the Pocket Pal as its added features make up for it. It is very well made and works. Thanks to the flat diamond part, you have more options for sharpening. Please note that this does not replace a "proper" grinding method such as a grinding wheel and is not as effective. You can't take the steering wheel with you anyway. Here it comes in handy. It's small enough to fit in a toolbox or pocket, so you can service your blades on the go. Doesn't work miracles, but it works. About the magnet: Holds a flat diamond file very well. It's also strong enough to support the weight of the item, but the sides are made of smooth plastic. So if you stick it to a fridge door, for example, it will slide down. However, you can stick a small piece of tape or rubber to the side. The pull prevents slipping and the item stays in place. I don't see a way to store it in my fridge, but that would be another useful feature. You already have a magnet. And below there are rubber inserts. Another small piece of rubber on the side of the magnet and there. They have another great feature. In any case, if you want to attach it to vertical iron surfaces, it's an easy solution. Photo: Comparison with Pocket Pal and AA battery.
