I bought this to replace a black iron wine rack on my kitchen countertop. Because the posts are darker black granite, there was no contrast between the iron post and the granite. My kitchen cabinets are natural wood, light color. This rack works great; I especially like the wooden base. The whole shelf fits right under the base where the old shelf used to be and looks great. Installation only took a few minutes. Of all the wine racks I've seen at Revain, this is my favorite. He was very responsive to my needs.
