I have two cats, both 7/8 months old. One, a boy, is taller than average and the other, a girl, is shorter than average. I bought it a small size thinking it might fit a little girl - it was very big for her, she could jump out and she wasn't very comfortable in it. I decided to try this on a boy and it fit him perfectly and he felt good and warm in it. If you have a medium or smaller cat, this may be too big. If you have a big cat this is perfect. By big I don't mean fat - while it stretches well, it will probably work for a Chungus too.
