Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance Your Connectivity with the MOKiN MicroSD 3 Ports Pass Through Adapter by Anthony Heinrichs

Worked for 2 months

I used it with my Macbook Pro to connect another monitor via HDMI. It was always quite slow to connect compared to my other USB3.0->HDMI adapter when I plugged it in (it took about 5-10 seconds for the CPU to recognize that a new monitor was connected, compared to about a half second), but that's absolutely a first world problem. Today I plugged it in and my second monitor stayed dark. I tried swapping the USB 3 ports on Mac but the device still failed. I've tried swapping the cables, but the device still doesn't work. It may be cheaper than other products and it "works" initially, but if it dies every 2 months I'd rather just pay double or triple (or whatever the price difference) once and be done with it. said it seems like at least one of the USB ports is still charging, so it's not really rubbish at this point. It just doesn't do what I bought it for, allowing me to use a very "essential" secondary monitor while working from home. After all, he asks me to rate the cleanliness? Is it supposed to be an ergonomic design because the device has nice bevels and is kind of transparent in that sense, or did they give it a good finish/coating so it has a muted but reflective shine/transparency? How relevant is that? Oh snap, check out the ambient reflection from this non-working device! Fabulous.
