I have this light on my 125 with old foil. The old film had a peelable backing and adhered very well to the glass. I've had this old film on my 125 tank for 2 years and it's still going strong to this day. The film adheres well to glass. Ordered 2 more, one is 36" long and the other is 48" for my 40 factory and 75 gallon planted tanks. This new shit movie is like a frosted shower curtain. Nothing sticks, it just falls off. The film doesn't even stick to water like some instructions say. I had to tape it off but now the tape is visible through the frosted shower curtain they sent me. Also, the tape won't stick to the textured side, so you need the textured side facing the tank. However, the side of the structure facing the light diffuses the light better. sigh. I am in the process of ordering a new frosted glass screen and am hoping this will fix this @#$@ issue. Just raise the price if you have to, don't send that crap out to people. The light is still as good as my old setup. Like a light, @#%$ this movie.
