I have five parrots: a Harlequin Macaw, a Blue-fronted Amazon and three budgies. I feed them all ZuPreem FruitBlend along with vegetable slices. I feed my large birds the largest pellets and whales this size. All ZuPreem parrot granules contain the same ingredients in the same proportions, starting with finch-sized granules. So whatever size your bird likes best is fine no matter what size your bird actually is. (FYI, ZuPreem makes a breeding mix NOT suitable for companion parrots, it comes in extra large bags. Avoid!) Please be sure to check with your veterinarian before making any dietary changes! ZuPreem, Harrison's, Hagan and Roudybush (among others) make good pellets. But the best dry food is what your bird eats and I have been able to convert all my birds from a seed diet with FruitBlend.
