Had to buy several pairs of compression stockings and found the open toe style to be the best for me. I bought pantyhose and stockings and found that the pantyhose would slide down my waist and I had to put them on several times a day. This is quite uncomfortable with rather tight trousers, but with stockings and trousers it was not a problem. This brand is identical to the Leotruny brand (also cheaper). With that in mind, if you buy the Leotruny brand, go up a size. They do their job of compressing well. Now I have 3 different brands (Tofly, Nuvein and Mediven). They work just as well as the most expensive pair. You wash well. I air dry.
