I would like to start by saying that this swing has given my child great pleasure for two months and that the swing itself and the rope are of good quality, BUT and a huge BUT, the strap securing that comes with this product that suspends the swing from a tree is of poor quality. After two months of use (maybe two days a week and the child is significantly underweight) the seat belt suddenly snapped while my child was swinging on it, sending him to the ground. He landed so hard on his back that he couldn't breathe and was ill for two weeks after the accident. We hung this swing from a tree branch and the seat belt literally looks like someone cut it with scissors. We have other outdoor play equipment that hangs from trees and they all have much better double layer straps - I just wish I could see the difference before I set up this swing set and let my child play on it. This product is not safe as is. These swings must be fitted with quality harnesses if they are to be resold. This accident could have had much worse consequences.
