Bad quality control.
I bought this cable based on other reviews and my cable had a few issues. When it arrived it looked good and had good plugs and sockets. The problem was that when I plugged in the wire, only my right turn signal worked. I checked for continuity and found that only two of the seven wires were connected to the correct screws. I was able to open one end and fix the problem. I thought I'd buy a ready-to-use plug. Either someone was lazy or didn't know how to connect the cable.
