Works as expected and has an on/off switch
The simple 1-chip amp works as expected and saved me the hassle of assembling. I also like that there is an on/off switch. It also has a jumper selectable gain. It comes with 20x amplification, but as far as I remember there can also be 200x amplification. See the chip data sheet for details.
