My 99 Honda Accord LX Check Engine Light came on at 45,000 miles. Read it with my ODBII reader and it came back P1164 - Primary O2 sensor (upstream, pre-cat). I cleared it with my OBDII reader and the CEL was gone but the C (Catalyst Monitor) icon on the OBDII reader kept flashing after driving the car a few miles and DTC P1164 came back last week. I bought this sensor, installed it myself and voila! The trip computer reset everything and the green light on my OBDII reader came on. Saved me a bunch of bucks and thanks to other reviewers for suggesting this sensor is a suitable replacement part for ULEV 99 Honda Accord - California engines. Don't settle for cheap sensors and get your car fixed the first time by buying the right one, although it costs over $100 but still cheaper than other online retailers, dealerships and auto parts stores plus labor costs.
