This cable had one job - connect my Denon AVR X4200W to my Vizio E55 D0. That. Just. Can not. Roughly every 30 seconds, the sound and image disappear for about a second and a half, and then return as if nothing happened. This goes on and no matter what choice I make in the receiver's menu or which input I choose on the TV, the result is the same. Yes I checked the firmware of both devices and yes I replaced an old cable I had at home and use when I go on vacation to connect my laptop to the hotel TV. Of course, that old beater cable I've had for years works great. The fact that a $6 cable won't work isn't surprising. The problem is that my AV system is rack mounted in a special enclosure with cable guides and wraps. It takes several hours to remove the cable, so not worth the effort or time. I just look for a replacement and that's it. Wasted time and money, and frustration skyrockets. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!
