5'1", 150lbs, size 8/10, ordered XXL (wide hips/pear shape). Underneath are real panties attached to the shorts. Personally I didn't know. I thought they were just cover up shorts that would show through the bottom of my bikini. Not the case. Be careful when measuring. The shorts are meant to lie. However, the measurements given show the XXL waist is between 38.5 and 40.5 note i said waist this is not the ideal place you want to sit tall however i am very unsure how they really fit i tend to order large items. The package came in sizes XXL and XL.The size on the shorts is XL.Who knows what size it really is will help someone.Here are the measurements of selected pairs is XXL.XXL fits a size 16/18.Or 14/16 .Depends on how tight or loose S who like their swimwear.
