Used them to make a strap for a backpack fan to take some of the load off my shoulders. One of the curved ends broke off while wearing. The carabiner is made of fairly thin hollow metal. I'd like to think my core is so strong that I just got over it, but I'm 70 years old and while I'm still in good shape, I'm not THAT fit. The D ring on the clasp is not deformed and the plastic clasp on the fabric belt is fine and I would expect both to bend or break initially.
