Review on πŸ”Š Furrion Aurora 2.1 Channel Outdoor Soundbar: 70W, Wireless Bluetooth, IP45 Weatherproof, Waterproof Remote - FSBNN3MSR-BL by Laura Mason

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No connection to TV or external remote control. You're stuck setting up with the included remote control

Good things first. The sound quality is good. For a $200 soundbar, this is on par; good but not amazing. I definitely got what I paid for. It is also easy to install and connect to Furrion Outdoor TV. We have a ceiling TV and it took about 2 minutes to install. It looks good, although I would have preferred it to be closer/closer to the TV than the 2" space between the panel and the TV. The remote control is waterproof (so they claim), which will come in handy since we have no choice but to use it. Now badly where this company really misses the mark. The TV and speakers are from the same company and were developed together. So explain to me why it's so crazy to expect a TV remote to not also control the soundbar. HORRIBLE design and definitely a reflection of the company's inability to accommodate customer needs. Second, we used a coax cable to connect to the TV. I tried repeatedly to get Bluetooth to work but it didn't work. It wasn't a big deal with my ceiling mount, but if you have a wall mount just be prepared for the hassle. Finally there is power. Modern televisions have no sound. A soundbar is almost a must. So why not add an AC plug to the TV so you only have to connect the panel to the TV. I had to disconnect the TV from the CE instead if you want to run a new power line up the ceiling rod. All in all, if you know what you're getting into and want the hassle, the Furrion TV fit makes this a worthwhile buy. But be willing to admit how little attention this company has paid to customer service. So many little things that could easily make this a 5 star rating.
