My daughter's head did not fit through the shirt but that may have more to do with the size of her head than the shirt. She's tiny for her age so at almost 5 she's still wearing 3T (sometimes 4T) clothes but I believe she has a bigger head than the average 3 or 4 year old. But the pants fit great! And we're going to cut a slit in the shirt to make it work.
