This ironing board cover came quickly, well packaged and fits my 18 inch ironing board very well. Joanne, and he seems pretty solid. I use it almost every day, sometimes several hours a day, for quilting and craft projects. As long as it holds up well. It has a slightly tacky texture and I like it. the fabric does not shift unnecessarily when ironing or ironing According to the instructions, if it needs cleaning, I wipe it with a damp cloth and do NOT wash it in the washing machine. If I have to use glue or fusible pads, I remove this cover and use the old one for these projects. I hope this cover lasts a very long time and I would definitely recommend and buy it again.
