This is the best overflow I have ever used. Other models from other manufacturers do not clean the air bubbles that collect in the overflow well or require a pump to remove air. In my experience they don't work very well as the pump inevitably gets clogged and stops working. If you're on vacation or don't realize it, you could flood your home or kill fish due to lack of circulation.
