I'm a big fan of Irwin's range of high performance bits and drills with impact properties. They are very well made, durable and accurate. You are no different. They feel heavy and hard and are durable, staying sharp even after repeated use. Much better than the cheap bits that come with screws. The 1/4" hex shank allows for impact use so you don't have to lug the drill around and bang on the job site. smack or, if you have a socket, put it on this bit and tighten the screw.
