Anyone who thought it was a good idea to have something to hold and protect your car keys was brilliant because it serves the same purpose as a case to put your phone in stuck phone. If you drop it, however, protect your key fob from any damage you might cause by dropping it, as a damaged key fob will become an inoperable key fob and prevent you from remotely opening or even starting your car's doors.
