Gotta do the job. And it really is

Before I bought them, I saw in the Q&A that someone asked about using hardware to mount. I have the same question. After inspecting the glue base and figuring everything out, I decided to use glue. First of all the instructions are great, they tell you exactly what to do with easy to understand diagrams. But they don't tell you how. This is what you should do if you want to follow the instructions. Clean the area (veneer cabinet side) with awesome cleaner. Rinse with a damp paper towel, then dry with a towel**, making sure it's dry. Raise it to the eye and mark it on one side with a pencil. Break out a small plane and mark on the other side. I used a piece of blue masking tape to draw a horizontal line. Peel off the backing and line up the bottom with the tape and touch lightly to keep it in place. And please make sure the hooks are facing up. I cut off a small piece of cheap paper plate to let the air out. a piece of paper plate and your thumb, start in the CENTER and work your way to the edges in small circular motions, as if you were buffing wax off a car. It's best to have good lighting as you can see the "air" disappear as you wash it off. When you get to the next hook, push the air out again with your thumb. Then continue to expel the air in small circular motions toward the end. Take the time to let all the "air" out before expanding your territory. You can see if you missed anything. It says to wait 24 hours before using it. Shelves installed immediately. They seem pretty durable. I can't give them 5 stars because I haven't used them. But I don't think they will collapse. Oh, and if you want to use the hardware, you can. But I would use what you are given unless it is a very porous surface. I suspect if you stick them to painted drywall you'll pull the paint with you when you get tired of it. And the carrying capacity decreases when you do this. I wouldn't glue them to drywall - use hardware. Update: 24 hour serviced as instructed. These things are strong and I expect them to stick around long after I'm gone.

Pros

Cons
