Seems to be a great investment for a beginner or intermediate.
Hammer looks well built. We're just getting started with wires so I bought based on other customer reviews. So far it does everything I could want and seems solid for the price. I think there are probably better (and more expensive) jewelry hammers out there, but this seems like a great tool for beginners and as a backup tool for other uses. PS - I know the difference between high end hammers and tools in general. So when I say they feel solid, I mean it.
