This cross shaft vise was far less tedious to put to use than most of the many reviews I have read.
The HFS vise I received was generally well made and strong. The only glaring issue was the misadjusted shim that allowed it to move. Minor adjustments and some polishing of the rails, as well as spraying with Teflon grease meant the unit had little to no slack, knobs turned fairly easily, and linear movement was poor. It was worth the money and highly recommended!
