Great neck headphones for the gym or an active lifestyle! First, I like the clean white look of the headphones. It has Jaybird accents on the chrome-colored earbuds, and the earbuds themselves aren't too big. The neck cable is flat and made of sweat and water-resistant material. When I wear them around my neck, they just stick to my neck and the headphones barely move. The included ear tips and wings are good. I liked that it came with Comply foam ear tips but ended up with silicone ear tips as the bass was more muted while still maintaining a snug fit. I haven't really experimented with other spring sizes and went with the medium spring size as that's my size. I probably could have chosen a large one, but I figured the size that came with it worked well enough. The fit and comfort worked well for me in the gym while lying flat, upright, or prone and moving on the elliptical or treadmill. These earbuds stayed in my ears for the most part. Sometimes I had to adjust them to fit securely in my ears, especially when I turned my head from side to side. Despite that, they're still better than any other headphones I've ever used. Now for the sound, which I compared to my Sol Republic Shadow neckband headphones (which I used to use at the gym). The sound is just as good, a little less rumble on the floors. Bass is important to me in the gym so my Shadows were really great for that, but after listening to Jaybird for a while I appreciated cleaner bass, albeit sacrificing some punch. The mids and highs were also perfect and crystal clear for me, which is why they are definitely recommended for music lovers in the gym. Bluetooth audio has really come a long way these days! The Bluetooth connection is solid and sometimes jumps when the phone is in my pocket, but it connects quickly to my phone every time I turn these headphones on. The only thing I noticed is that the battery status and power on/off beeps are very loud, but I've gotten used to it over time, so it's not a big deal. active lifestyle I've ever had.
