They were great headphones until they died after a few uses

These would be great headphones if they still worked. I bought this as a gift for my husband who runs every day and is very picky about all his running gear. He has several in-ear running headphones, mainly Jaybirds and Bose. He loved this one; PROS: Light, well balanced, easy to use. CONS: The included soft case is small and easy to lose, charging is cumbersome. Unfortunately, the headphones stopped charging after about 10-15 uses. It indicates that it is fully charged but has no power at all.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Has flaws

They have good sound and a great Jaybird app, but?

The X3 has a good sound and with the Jaybird app I can customize the sound to what I really like. But why I returned them are my reasons below. But that's just my preference, a lot of people like them, so they might work well for you. At the moment I'm using TOZO T-10 which I like but haven't used for a long time.1. The cable is too short for my purposes. It is sometimes difficult to reach the controller when walking or running. I've always liked the Beats X cable (pictured), it's long enough…

Lower version than previous model

I first bought the Jaybird X2 last year and I really love it. I had them for about a year before accidentally slamming the car door while they were in my hand and breaking the cable connecting the headphones. After that I decided to upgrade and buy Jaybird X3s. I love the addition of sound profiles to change the EQ to my liking and the battery life seems as good or better than the previous model. Jaybird X3 is just terrible. A serious downgrade from the X2s. I personally prefer the foam tips…

Great headphones, battery issues but DEAD after 12 months

I have a headache and due to connection issues I wanted to switch to another brand that has a similar design and quality. Jaybird delivered them until that happened. My only criticism of these headphones is that the design is odd and the piece of hardware is charging. It was so frustrating to charge them but they tested all the other features I wanted. AMAZING FIT: I can run, I can do double jumps, do burpees. I haven't tried handstand push-ups, but I wouldn't be surprised if they stuck in my…

Lots of pros but hurts my ears

I was arguing between them and the Bose Soundsport headphones. I tried Jaybirds for about 3 weeks before finally deciding to switch to Bose. The Bose is around £30 more and the sound is admittedly slightly better (although I'm not an audiophile and I find both excellent in that regard) but comfort wins which is why they're coming back. Jaybird BENEFITS: - 6 different headphone options, 3 fin options. It takes some work to find the best fit, but there are many options. Foam ear tips are great…

Poor sound quality and user experience

I decided to waste and buy these after my Beats X broke. I paid over $90 for it so my expectations were high. I was very disappointed. First, the sound quality was inferior to the standard Apple headphones that come with every iPhone (I've been using them while waiting for the Jaybirds to arrive). When you turn the volume up, Jaybirds beeps when it hits the max volume and it beeps when you hit the lowest setting, which annoyed me because I often use the highest setting. The manual that came…

Terrible quality control

If I had just written this review last week I would have given it 5 stars, asked what all the bad reviews and complaints were and I would wholeheartedly recommend these headphones. Why? Because I had an AMAZING couple for about 3 years. Amazing sound quality, 8+ hours charging time, fast charging, never connection problems. But then they died. The headphones aren't to blame, just normal wear and tear damaged the wire inside and caused the right earbud to stop working if I wasn't holding it…

Great sound and comfort, questionable durability/quality.

I really wanted to like these headphones but I have to say that I now regret not having bought them. First about the good. Pros: These headphones are well packaged and have a good set of ear tips and wings to keep them securely in your ear. It took me a few tries to find the combination that gave me the best comfort and fit, but once I had it, everything was fine. I use them for my workouts at the gym so I like that I can adjust the right and left position through the app depending on how I…

Great headphones for the gym!

Great neck headphones for the gym or an active lifestyle! First, I like the clean white look of the headphones. It has Jaybird accents on the chrome-colored earbuds, and the earbuds themselves aren't too big. The neck cable is flat and made of sweat and water-resistant material. When I wear them around my neck, they just stick to my neck and the headphones barely move. The included ear tips and wings are good. I liked that it came with Comply foam ear tips but ended up with silicone ear tips as
