Review on 🎧 Jaybird X3 Sweat-Proof Bluetooth Sports Headphones with Universal Fit and 8-Hour Battery Life - Sparta by Vickie Rad

Lower version than previous model

I first bought the Jaybird X2 last year and I really love it. I had them for about a year before accidentally slamming the car door while they were in my hand and breaking the cable connecting the headphones. After that I decided to upgrade and buy Jaybird X3s. I love the addition of sound profiles to change the EQ to my liking and the battery life seems as good or better than the previous model. Jaybird X3 is just terrible. A serious downgrade from the X2s. I personally prefer the foam tips, but the quality of the X3's foam tips is inferior to the previous model. The foam tips that fitted my ear were torn and destroyed within the first month of use, only after I put the ear tips in and out of my ear. Then I was forced to switch to silicone tips (I think). Not only does each pair of silicone ear tips hang around in the ear and need constant adjustment as they slip off during exercise, but the ear tips themselves hang on the ear tips themselves and come loose in the ear on a daily basis. Trying to get the earbuds out of your ear is no fun. Update: The tip now sits so loosely on the earcup that it slips out of the ear on its own without moving the slippery earbud to adjust. 5 times in the last hour.
