I never thought I'd buy a heated comforter or love to curl up, but after losing 20 pounds and becoming very small (110 pounds), I'm freezing me all the time. I use this when I'm sitting on the couch at the end of the day and my dog loves to snuggle up in the heat - she was trying to get on my lap! It weighs 55 pounds so it's not very practical, but it's very comfortable :) I was happy with the lowest tier, but went up to tier 3 (out of 5). Very happy with this blanket.
