I have a regular bucket that I use to wash the car, but it's better to use separate buckets for soaping and rinsing the dirt (so the old dirt doesn't rub into the paint). I also often think that I would like to have a small bucket for various household chores and jobs. So I ordered this as it looks like it will fit the bill and be easy to store. I look and work as advertised. It is very easy to raise and lower to a flat condition. Its capacity is decent, but it's not very big and it's not powerful - you can't mix concrete in it. But it is well suited as a second bucket for the car wash, not to mention the all-purpose bucket for the household. Judging by the photos, you can also use it as an ice bucket. Of course why not? Just note that it's not isolated or anything. Overall, it's very convenient for light/medium-duty household buckets.
