I've been using this monitor for a year now and I have to say it's definitely one of the best monitors out there. I mean, the resolution is fantastic, the colors are perfectly calibrated natively, the viewing angles are wide. There are more outputs and inputs on the back of this monitor than I have ever seen. However, this monitor has one major disadvantage. It is an anti-glare feature! This anti-reflective film creates a strange grainy texture on the screen. This is particularly noticeable with white. It just looks grainy! This is such a big problem with this monitor that there are even guides on various forums and blogs on how to remove this glare shield. That's because underneath the grainy plastic wrap is a gorgeous monitor that's the exact same hardware found in Apple cinemas! You have to remove the outer plastic and place damp paper towels on the screen for 12 hours to loosen the adhesive holding the anti-glare film to the screen. Then carefully remove it and hope you don't ruin your monitor. I haven't tried it, but I really want to try it. Now, if you work in an office with a lot of glare, I think you would appreciate the anti-glare feature, but it affects the image on the screen. disappointing picture.
