Review on Catit Cat Litter Pan Taupe by Paul Rumambi

I really liked this tray as the design is great and I found it particularly suitable for large cats. Unfortunately it was disappointing for three reasons: 1) At the bottom of the box where it came out of the mold was a very large, sharp pin that protruded beyond the box itself and could dig into and damage the wooden base. I had to take it to work and one of the guys at the shop sanded it flush to the bottom of the box. (This prompted a lot of humorous comments for the rest of the day.) 2) After installation and use (with no protest or hesitation from the cats), the bottom of the box felt "greasy" and the scoop didn't slide smoothly over the underside . litter.3) On the second day, when I picked up the tray to clean up afterwards, the entire side split from the edge to the bottom, and the litter spilled all over the floor. Arrrrgh! The box definitely wasn't overloaded with too much weight as it only held about 2-1/2 inches of debris. Thumbs up but with the little "bag holder" feature this simple idea worked great.
