They are true to size so I tried a size 6 for my 9 year old daughter (she has big feet for a 9 year old). Her feet are about 2 sizes smaller than mine and I wear a 7.5 so a 6 should fit her just fine. I also followed the size chart. Well, they were too big for her. I even tried them on and they got too big for me, they fit like a women's size 9! I wasn't sure if it was just this pair or something so luckily I sent them back for free and ordered 4.5 and they are the perfect size for her with little room to grow, just what I was looking for .
