I got this for my 6 year old to grow up with. It is 6/7 tall. I'm a size 9. Now it fits my son although it's a bit big. He can wear it well this winter! So be sure to order one size larger. The coat itself is fantastic! This is really great quality! Comfortable knitted cuffs in the sleeve. And a nice flannel inside. The zipper is wide and easy to use, but the zipper doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the jacket. It is in order. This makes walking easier. But at first it confused my 6 year old son trying to find the end of the zipper where it "usually" is. What this coat also means to us is a stamp on a leather strap - it says 'Little Dudes'. That's our son's nickname - Little Dude. So it was just a personal touch that made us all smile. This is a fantastic coat, just order one size up. Or go 2 sizes up if you think your child will be walking a lot in winter. It's 2 sizes bigger than what my son usually wears and will fit perfectly this winter. Especially if/when it has another growth spurt.
