Review on Sony ICFCS15IP Speaker Discontinued Manufacturer by Amanda Thacker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good product. I recommend this

The device came to the post office today. I'm very satisfied and haven't even explored everything he's capable of yet. A few things to note at the outset: 1. Annoying blinking: There is a review on hand from another customer who is concerned about how brightly the colon between the hours and minutes blinks when looking at a blue screen. I can only speculate, but for the typical potential buyer, don't worry about things like this. The person who submitted the feedback and complaint must be hypersensitive to light while they sleep (it's not even a bright screen when all the lights in your room are off). So don't worry and it shouldn't stop you in the slightest. (Later revision of the review. There is a "Snooze/Brightness" button on top of the device that offers four levels of brightness to turn on with a simple press of the button. Very functional feature. Again, this is in response to a mention in an earlier one Customer review excessive brightness colon signal between hours and minutes)2. App Required: Consider downloading a simple iPod or iPhone app if you install the product on your desk or dresser. Not so hot what's up. You will be prompted to go to the Apple App Store and download the app. This is not a problem.3. Radio Reception: At this early stage I can see radio reception. Living on the outskirts of Columbia, Missouri, I don't usually have problems with radio reception. With this device, the antenna is both adequate and effective. The reception is remarkable and excellent.4. Volume: I haven't even cranked the unit above level 10 and am quite happy with how it fills my relatively small bedroom. I don't need a lot of volume, but I wanted something bigger that would get the sound through the iPod's small speaker. This Sony docking station meets my needs perfectly. Remote Control: To be honest, when I reviewed the product on the Revain site before deciding to buy it, I didn't give a damn about the remote control. But I have to say I've used the remote before and actually find it handy just because I don't need to be physically near the dock itself. Stupid, I get it, but it's a really nice feature. It doesn't bother you, but it's surprisingly nice to have as an option.6. Sound quality: When I first came across the Bose docking station, which came out in 2006 or 2005, I was blown away by this device's ability to deliver an immersive audio experience. I have a feeling this will be my favorite for a while (I think the Bose price is totally unnecessary, which is why I went with the Sony). I haven't tried it on myself, but even up to level 10 the sound is quite appealing. I like the "mega bass" feature, I think it's noticeable but doesn't overcompensate.7. Antenna tuning: easy. The antenna is cheap cheap plastic. I was a little surprised at how cheap it looked and felt. (The signal quality is still excellent for where I live). I can't pretend to know how and if the device is receiving a signal in a remote location.8. Outward Look/Feel: It seems a little plasticky (you), but almost everything in our world is made of plastic. We can detach from things. What would we expect from a metal cased product? If dropped it can be a fragile item and I wonder how well it will survive a fall from a 4 1/2 foot high bedroom dresser if an accident happens. Solve the problem by placing it closer to the center of the dresser, hiding the cord so it doesn't trip, and being careful with your belongings. I'm still satisfied with my purchase, despite appearing dainty, delicate, plastic (you), very fragile in case of false accidental fall. Price. I thought the price matched the quality because I trust Sony products. I just needed something louder for my alarm clock (I'm getting a new night job in a week). But I also wanted a device that produced a little more volume for my room. With this Sony device, I was able to satisfy both needs. Recommendation: I would recommend it to potential buyers.
