Review on ๐Ÿ’ป Macally USB Wired Keyboard - Easy-to-Use Plug and Play Computer Keyboard for Laptop/Desktop - Slim 112 Key Layout with Numeric Keypad - 5ft Cable, Windows PC Compatible by Wine Gray

NOT leakproof.

I usually buy cheap $15 keyboards because my neurological disability often makes me clumsy which results in coffee, soda, water or whatever spilling on the keyboard. After taping another keyboard together with a soda spill, I decided on this keyboard based on reviews. I hadn't had it for two days when I spilled some baking soda on my keyboard. I liked this particular keyboard more than all the cheaper ones before. Since sticking on keyboards, I've learned how to take them apart, clean each key, and make the keyboard like new again. THIS keyboard has five times as many screws holding it closed. They are also very small screws. After cleaning this keyboard, unlike all "cheap" keyboards, the functions stopped working. The left shift key didn't register as pressed (and the smudge was on the right side of the keyboard), many letters and the numeric keypad (located in the smudged area) stopped working. This is the only keyboard. I've had ones that, after a full cleaning, are beyond repair. Again, all five other keyboards that I have "in stock" work. The reason I order new keyboards is because I like to change layout designs or key functions while the old keyboard is being cleaned, dried and restored, so I order a new keyboard that is brand new in case the refurbished/erased keyboard isn't is working. Doesn't work properly. I prefer to have plenty of "backup" keyboards and mice in case of a major failure. This keyboard didn't survive a little splash. I liked the feel of the keys, the size of the entire keyboard, but it's awkward to open, awkward to clean, and awkward to close without pinching or aligning anything because of all the screws. I still have this in my stack of keyboards, which I'll "dig deep into repairs" later.
