Review on Logitech Signature M650 L Wireless Mouse, Graphite by Janis Ziemelis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I have a right-handed graphite L version (side buttons on the left). The model from the official site is 910-006236. I'm using Manjaro OS. I've been using it for almost a week. Active, 8-10 hours a day. The hand does not get tired. From pluses: pleasant weight; not heavy and not light, like, for example, the M185. Solid middle man. Calmly determined via Bluetooth: the battery was included (Duracell OEM), pulled out the protective tab - the mouse turned on and went into pairing mode. Bluetooth on the laptop picked up instantly. An interesting thing is SmartWheel. I have not tried it in large documents, but in huge logs and chats - it's just fine! I didn’t think that I would use this feature at all, but its presence definitely pleases. The mouse is quiet. Very straight! Clicks are completely inaudible. The loudest click is the middle wheel. The rest is just silent. Nice rubberized sidewalls of the mouse. How long they will last - I don’t know, but tactilely - a pleasant grip. Of the minuses - under Bluetooth and Linux, the mouse quickly "falls asleep". 5 seconds and already asleep. When moving the mouse, it wakes up instantly and the cursor seems to jump (teleport?) from point to point in the direction of mouse movement, and then moves smoothly, as usual. It doesn't bother me, it's just weird. Through the USB module, the mouse does not fall asleep so quickly and works correctly, without jumping. For pairing, I used Solaar software and konami-code (there is in the photo). In general, I really like the model. And it fits perfectly under my arm, and the assembly is strong, and in general, as for me, a very successful device.

Pros
  • Quiet Just very quiet! Ergonomics (version L, for right-handers) An interesting trick with SmartWheel
