Review on πŸ”‘ KeylessOption Replacement Key Fob Remote Control for Mini Van - GQ43VT20T by Jeff Warne

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For $19 I can't believe it worked so easily.

Bought one of these as a "gift" for my ex-wife and our kids. Your original Toyota key fob suddenly stopped working and changing the battery didn't help either. After Toyota charged $90 for a replacement, I went online to look for an aftermarket one. For $19 I found out what the heck? Surprisingly all the reviews were 4 and 5 stars which frankly seems strange. This key fob has been used less than two days so don't read this as a long term review. However, it came with printed instructions and it worked great! The process was a little clumsy (literally opening and closing the door, opening and closing the door, putting the key in the ignition, pulling it out, doing it again, etc.). But that's how Toyota designed their car, so you have to be very careful when programming the key fob. All buttons work great on a 2009 Toyota Sienna with power sliding doors and tailgate. The panic button works too. And it came with a battery pre-installed, which was nice. For the price, this might not be the highest quality build, but who cares when it will only last a few years cheap as it is. EDIT: 12/11/2015 The person I bought this for gave me an update. The remote control still works perfectly. But after just two weeks, the white imprint on the buttons is gone. Since it's identical to the original factory OEM, it doesn't matter because they already know what each knob does. However, what they used to print on the buttons was cheap and didn't last as well as the original Toyota key fob. Still worth the money compared to an OEM keychain that costs $70-$90!
