I bought a 128Gbps Elite-X card for my new Ricoh GR III camera as I had several other PNY products and they all worked perfectly. Also, I really didn't want to spend more than $30 for a SanDisk Extreme Pro card since both the SanDisk and Elite-X have the same read/write speeds. However, the problem with this PNY card was that every time I took the card out of the camera for whatever reason, the camera would say "card not formatted" every time I put it back in the camera. This forced me to format the card through my camera's menu every time I reinserted the card before I could use it again. I tried a cheap and slow Class 4 Mushkin SD card I got from an old camera and it was fine. I ended up returning the PNY and got a SanDisk which also works perfectly so I'm not sure what's wrong with the Elite-X.
