This power hub is really nice. I only needed the 110V outlet for my desktop and this is the only site where I found one. It says you need a 1.8 hole but my 1-3/4 hole saw makes a perfect fit. One thing lacking is a back face washer to tighten the locking ring against. I made one out of a cereal box using my hole saw/drill press to get the I.D. and oversized the locking ring for the O.D. Would buy again.

I purchased this actually for adding power from a wall outlet in an upper kitchen cabinet which our over the stove microwave oven plugs into. I wanted to add led lighting above the cabinet. I cut a round hole in the top of the cabinet so that the cord goes into the cabinet and plugs into the outlet. As I did not need a 6' cord, at first I bundled it together but I then went back and cut the cord to about 8" and put a new plug on the cord end, so that it looked clean and did not have a cord…

I was expecting the plastic nut on the bottom, but you can also unscrew the top plate and install the plug from underneath. Just be careful when you screw the face plate back on, as mine became cross threaded, and the more I tried to remove the plate again, the tighter it became. There's no way to remove it now!Still works good, I removed one star for the stupid design that even allows a cross thread to happen.

The reason your reading this review is because you are looking for a fairly discreet power outlet on your desktop. This one is grounded and works well. 1.75" hole in desk/ table top. Plugs into wall/ power strip. Looks like it belongs there. Works. kungfuking, kungfuking, kungfuking. Ha.

Great little outlets! They are perfect size to be discreet and blend into custom cabinetry we build.Customers have been very happy with them.Easy to install. I was going to get the sill lights. But didn't like the size and way they attach. These are great.

Product was as described. Easy installation with a 2" hole saw. Plug is well secured by the locking nut on the bottom. Easy access.

Great idea, clever product. horrible executionMy mistake for not testing but outlets I ordered before installing in a countertop.1 works great (although I will need to inspect it for safety)The other is not connected internally, with one bare wire just hanging out with a tiny blob of cold solder on it. and hot glue to hold the other in.Being this is a recessed and hidden product, this is a fire waiting to happen

I was struggling to get behind my desk all the time to reach the power extension as I am constantly moving working space. Some days I am in my home office other days I am in the kitchen and having the need to travel with my charged it was a hussle to connect behind the home office desk. This solved that issue fashionably. I will get another one for the other side.

I bought two of these to mount in the base of some shelves that were covering the wall outlets. They are basically just extension cords. They are easy to install and they look good. I am pleased with the purchase and would buy them again if the need came up.

I didn't want to crimp/cut/solder wires to bring some AC everywhere in my camper so I've used those plugs, and plugged them into an extension cord outlet.Very simple to drill the hole for the plug. I have used a 2" hole saw, which is a bit larger than specified but works fine.

This is a very well made product. Would fit on any desktop or for that matter any where you would need a product like this. Thanks for attention.
