Should I have bought 3 of these for my kids? Could you find cheaper costumes? No and yes. BUT, let's just have a candid moment of absolute honesty. Seriously, this was the best and most fun thing I've ever gotten on Halloween as an adult. My kids love dinosaurs and they loved these costumes. They were relatively easy to put on and take off, were quite warm for our chilly Halloween, and were a hit with friends, family and neighbors! No kidding, almost every house gave them extra candy just because they made people laugh. My husband and I went in adult costumes and it was fun. My kids still enjoy carrying them around the house, fighting, sliding across the floor and general fun ensues. In terms of size, the costumes were too big for my 3 year old, fit my 5 year old perfectly and were almost starting to get too big. small for my giant almost 8 years old. They are very simple due to the way they are made, so they fit a wide range of sizes. If my kids weren't as big and old as they are, I might have ordered an adult costume for the tallest boy. Although honestly it worked fine. My only recommendation is to take backup batteries with you if you intend to carry them for a while, or put in new batteries just before leaving, but they last for several hours.
