Wonderful curtains - make the room MUCH darker and look beautiful at the same time!

In general I am very satisfied with YGO curtains. My new studio has a lot of windows so sleeping hacking was very important to me. I was debating whether to go for 84" or 95" french doors and I wish I had gone for longer ones now. A longer length would have allowed it to reach all the way to the floor, and the top of the curtains would have been higher above the opening. This has the advantage that the room can be darkened more. I find that the fabric provides sufficient room darkening. The problem is that with top grommets, the curtains need to be hung farther from the openings in order for the pleats to hang well when open. You also get some light through the eyelets themselves. One of the advantages of these curtains is that they look good both open and closed. When closed, having extra fabric is not as important as some other curtain styles. However, I decided to order two more panels to fully cover my French doors on all sides. I'm going to try something interesting and take a second set of alternating colors and see what it might look like to have two colors in one window. ) as we already get so much blue light in the evenings and the color of the curtains really reflects where the light enters at the edges. I have burgundy curtains on some windows but I feel like all the red would be too red. I didn't want one color to take over so when I'm done I have 3 curtain colors. Once I have all my curtains up I will take photos but will probably attach them to another review. In terms of perfect dimming, I chose this company because another company I've tried doesn't have that latitude. wide range of sizes so I couldn't get all my curtains in one place unless I took the ones that were waiting too long to be renewed. Also, this fabric is sooooo beautiful and better than other companies. However, what I liked about another company is that their curtains have a combination of rod pocket and back tabs and it was a lot easier to get my old room complete. therefore dark. (It also helped that it was a basement room with a flat ceiling and only two windows. I used perimeter rods, bought long curtains for the windows, and hung them flush with the ceiling. Closing the curtains all the way created a cavernous effect .) Overall, both companies I bought Revain from provided excellent blackout curtains. If you have read this far, be sure to choose blackout curtains for your bedrooms. Be sure to buy large windows and install them as high as possible above the opening so the length below the window is as small as possible. Setting it apart a few inches also helps. Use poles to block light on the sides. Purchase additional panels if two panel opening cannot be COMPLETELY closed. Pay attention to the color of the panels. because red and brown help your brain calm down more at night than blue. (I know this may seem counterintuitive, and it has to do with how our eyes perceive light color depending on the time of day. Blue and "white" light is best in the morning!)
