I previously gave this rug a 5 star rating. What's changed? After being on my front porch for a month (in rain, sun and wind) I decided to wash the rug in my washing machine because it was dirty (some white squares were dirty and there were black spots I"m guessing from mud and dirt). I used my typical laundry detergent, Tide, and washed with cold tap water. The spots that were on the rug from being outdoors never came out. So now I have a buffalo plaid rug with black spots. I bought this to go under the smaller door mat we currently have at the front door. We have double doors and it needed a little something to jazz it up. The mat is perfect and spans across the length of two doors, so the original mat lays over the top of it.The print goes great with the brown/orange decor of fall and ALSO the holiday decor we will be putting up next week. I am always cautious when ordering things like rugs from Revain, but with this rug I was pleasantly surprised! It is very sturdy and thick (not heavy, but you can tell it will withstand outdoor use). I also like that it is machine washable! Looks great at our front entry!

This is a really great rug.material is good quality and just the right thickness. The pattern is great. It is hard to find a nice black and white buffalo check rug! It is actually more of a cream, but still looks nice. We have it in front of a kitchen sink, but would be great in an entry, in a bathroom, you name it. I love it and will definitely order again!

I ordered this to go under a welcome mat by my front door. It came in exactly as promised and looks great! It's only been down a week so we'll see how it holds up on my covered front porch. But so far, very happy with my purchase.

The corner seams came apart immediately. I sewed the ends, but was disappointed that it separated so quickly.I do like how the ends don’t curl and it stays flat/good structure.

I purchased 2 of these nice cotton runners. They are reversible so I do have to use a rug pad under them to keep them from slipping around. The fact that they are machine washable is a plus but I haven't needed to wash them yet which is why I only gave a 4 star. Not sure how much they will shrink or loose shape.

I had just put the rug in my doorway and two days later my boyfriend did yard work and got mud all over it. Luckily, it is machine washable and all the mud washed off!

The weight and quality of the rug are good, but it is not black and white as in the photo. Can be challenging to spot clean! It is black and cream.

I loved the print. I did not like that mine arrived with a snag. All of the lower star reviews are completely correct, it is flimsy, it does slip— I purchased the non-slip grips, and although they work to prevent it from slipping, the rug is just so thin and flimsy. I have it beneath my kitchen sink, it stains easily, and since it arrived snagged, I am afraid to wash it. Definitely priced too high for what you get. The quality just is not there. I’ll be replacing it again soon.

The rug is "as advertised" but thinner than I expected. My cat repeatedly bunched it until I put two-sided tape on the 4 corners. I assume "washable" means it can be put in the washing machine but I'm skeptical since it is 100% cotton. "IF" it can go in the washing machine that would be a key feature.

Nice addition to my son’s room for a graphic and visual interest. Thin rug, but lays flat and is decently priced for the size. Happy with the purchase and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

I had been looking for a buffalo checked rug to go under my mat at my front door for months when I finally found this one! I LOVE IT! It's great quality and has so far withstood 2 huge hurricane level rainfalls (although I do have a covered porch). I would absolutely buy this again! I bought it a little larger after reading reviews of it not being quite bit enough :)

These are perfect; durable, don’t shed, don’t stain, even after having been washed time and time again. we use these in our kitchen, very heavy traffic. I truly couldn’t believe that all the stains come out in the wash. Hot water doesn’t even bother these rugs. I have both the small and larger rugs.
