Let's say I will be replacing the one I bought from the hardware store with one of these in the near future. Not well made. The leather is stitched together with light weight thread that pulls out and let's the leather separate. I have had similar web belts that cost far less, that lasted for years. I was hesitant to purchase this product after reading the sparse reviews but am so glad I did. I suspected that the connection issues might be user issues which I think is true. The phone app was perfect and easy to use. To connect wirelessly, you have to turn off Auto-connect for the wifi you use at home. So, I used this tape for painting a vehicle. The tape works well right away. But, I found that if you keep the tape exposed to a surface while in the sun.the tape residue sticks to the surface once you peel the blue tape off. It is a little annoying.
