☆☆Edit☆☆Mold has formed on my device while working! Not sure how this happened as we know there is no mold anywhere else in our room! Our room started to smell like mildew and mold stains. Upon further inspection of the air conditioning fan, mold was found growing on the inside of each blade, and it began to grow on the louvers that direct the airflow. Luckily we bought a protection plan and they refunded the purchase price of the machine so I could buy a new one. Be careful! It was cold in our room, but at what cost to health? I've never bought anything like this before. I live in an apartment with a wall unit in the living room. My bedroom is a good size. Let's say 20-10 minutes plus or minus. With this device my bedroom is so cool! We sweat EVERY SINGLE night. It was terrible! This machine saved us! We set it to 70 and it keeps us super cool and comfortable. The remote works great when we get too hot or too cold (mostly cold lol). I've read a lot of reviews about it being noisy and even with the condenser running it's quieter than a wall unit in a living room. The only drawback is the window kit. It definitely could have been built a little better. My window opens from right to left, not top to bottom. The screw holes just didn't match the height of my window. The instructions were also unclear. I'm pretty sure I abused the styrofoam (I used it to insulate my window kit) but I didn't see anything in the instructions about it. But seriously. 9/10 only because the window kit was slightly different and the instructions should have been better. Won't stop me from buying again.
